IMHO makes a good point about hosted content... let us find a balance where the goal of the perfect (HTTPS everywhere) does not overwhelm the reality of the good-enough (maybe just same origin) a content author can be responsible for ensuring that all the requests from their content go to secure sites if they want/need to tighten things down but this proposal would make it the browser's responsibility to play 'nanny'... it would remove choices from the author/producer and taking options away from them seems to rarely be A Good Idea jeffs -- Jeff Sonstein Assoc.
