This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to adopt the W3C Patent Policy (Version of 15 September 2020) https://www.w3.org/Consortium/Patent-Policy-20200915/ The WebTransport working group was unfortunately chartered right before W3C's "Process 2020" https://www.w3.org/wiki/Process2020 went into effect, which means we missed it. We (the chairs) think it would be beneficial to update to the new policy, even though this requires rechartering. From previous experience this may require members to rejoin, though we're still a bit uncertain about the details. Full disclosure: the chairs have responded positively to a W3C survey on such adoption, whose deadline is today. We therefore appreciate quick feedback on the CfC if there are concerns. With this working group just starting out, we're hopeful this won't pose a problem for anyone, but would like to extend our apologies for not getting ahead of this sooner. The CfC will last for one week, and will end on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 21:00 UTC. In response, please state one of the following: I support adopting the the W3C Patent Policy (Version of 15 September 2020) I object to adopting the W3C Patent Policy (Version of 15 September 2020), due to the following concerns: Jan-Ivar, for the Chairs
