Open Screen Application Protocol & Open Screen Network Protocol published

I’m pleased to announce the following two specifications have been published today:

Open Screen Application Protocol

Open Screen Network Protocol
https://www.w3.org/TR/openscreen-network/


Development of both the specifications will continue in the familiar repo:
https://github.com/w3c/openscreenprotocol/


As communicated earlier, this split simplifies the specification work by layering, helps increases implementation diversity at the transport layer, and allows the relevant IETF groups to contribute to the network protocol part.

The original Open Screen Protocol in its pre-split state is now frozen and directs readers to the two independent parts:
