Hi Second Screen WG/CG participants, Thank you for your active participation at the Second Screen WG/CG 2021 Q1 virtual meeting and thanks Louay for co-Chairing! It was particularly great to see new folks join and present exciting developments in this space, in addition to seeing the familiar faces :-) Meeting minutes: https://www.w3.org/2021/02/23-webscreens-minutes.html https://www.w3.org/2021/02/24-webscreens-minutes.html Our agenda was the following: https://github.com/w3c/secondscreen-wg/issues/2 We recorded the following actions and resolutions in the minutes: - Mark to adjust and merge explainer document for the Open Screen Protocol - Alexis and Kenneth to add some text clarifying that posture may be derived from sensors in addition to the angle in the Screen Fold API - Daniel to contact editor of the Visual Viewport API to assess standardization intent - Drop ScreenFold.angle from the Screen Fold API first version (for DAS WG consideration) I opened issues or amended the existing ones for the above-mentioned actions and also linked some other actionable items to GH issues. All - please review the minutes and make sure any substantial decisions are reflected in the GH issues -- I likely missed some. Lastly, in response to the support from the group, we started a Call for Consensus to publish a First Public Working Draft of the Open Screen Protocol, please review by 9 Mar 2021: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-secondscreen/2021Feb/0015.html Thanks for your contributions in moving forward all the exciting deliverables we have on our plate. Web developers are counting on us to bring these goodies to them in a nice, ergonomic, yet powerful package! Thanks, -Anssi (Second Screen WG/CG co-Chair)
