I support adoption of "Captured Surface Control”. I filed several issues in the screen share extension repository (initial review at https://github.com/w3c/mediacapture-screen-share-extensions/issues/13). I welcome discussions of this topic within the WebRTC WG. I believe we should start small and cautious here as it is always better to start small and extend and as it is difficult to remove things from the web.
