Question on pip api

Hi all,

We've recently found the picture in picture API to be of limited use. I'm
wondering what the experience of others is with it.

It's great to have the picture in picture API - it allows a video call to
sit on top of apps so people can get their work done without losing visual
contact with their video peer.

However, the API only allows a single video element into the overlay.
That's very limiting, particularly on multipeer calls.

Are there any plans to change the API to allow any element to go PIP?
Similar to how we changed the full screen API to apply to any element?

Curious about other people's thoughts.
