pes10k has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/mediacapture-image: == Minor text suggestions and clarification requests == (this issue is from the review I did as part of PING's HR review) Currently the text states the following: > The supported resolutions are presented as segregated imageWidth and imageHeight ranges to prevent increasing the fingerprinting surface and to allow the UA to make a best-effort decision with regards to actual hardware configuration. I wasn't able to figure out whats meant here. Why does reporting the `imageWidth` and `imageHeight` values independently reduce fingerprinting surface? And what is meant by a "best-effort decision"? Does this mean "best effort to reduce fingerprinting surface" or something else?
