Agenda proposal TPAC

Dear WG,

a proposed agenda for the F2F Oct 31-Nov 1. Feedback is very appreciated.

The assumed times are:
October 31, 0900-1230 (3.5 hours) & 1330-1730 (4 hours)
November 1, 0900-1230 (3.5 hours) & 1330-TBD

Monday Oct 31:

* Review/feedback on IETF docs and on IETF reqs posed to W3C 2 hours
** Overview/Architecture 45 min
** Use cases and requirements 45 min
** Security reqs 30 min

* Discuss access control model and privacy/security aspects 1 hour
** Permitting access to camera / microphone
** Short-term vs long term permissions
** Permissions and the user model
** Showing that camera / microphone is in use
** Revoking permission

* Proposals for access to low level functions 1/2 hour
** Interaction between low level functions and high level functions

Lunch

* Go through the API proposal in detail. Record outstanding issues and 
problems.
** MediaStream 2 hours
*** Definition of Track and Stream
*** Immutable Stream.TrackList
*** getUserMedia
*** Recording
*** Cloning
*** Assembling tracks to a new MediaStream
** Data streams (whatever we have at that stage) 0-30 min
** PeerConnection 2 hours
*** (including SDP o/a)
*** Events
*** States
*** ....

Tuesday Nov 1:

* Re-iterate the main findings of the Monday API session 30 min
** (with fresh brains, and having had time for reflection)

* Implementation status 2 hours
**Implementors tell what functions they have implemented so far, and 
issues met

* Revisit use cases to see how they can be met with the API
** Pseudocode
** Matching against implemented subset
** (Possibly some “live” testing)

* Joint session with the Audio WG 1 hour
** Reviewing the Audio API situation
** Identifying Audio requirements from use cases and seeing if they are 
covered

Lunch

* Matters arising, Any Other Business (flexible)
* Summing up 45 min
