What evidence do you have that capture is interrupted when laptop lid is closed?

per the specification "out of control for the application"?

Similar to configuring power ("suspend"; "hibernate") at laptop/desktop cannot a user who has specific hardware and OS requirements re Media Capture and Streams (or any other hardware setting or OS source code) root their "smart" phone and set whatever configuration they want?
