@alvestrand Actually did sign up for W3C. The W3C revoked membership for the fraudulent reason that guest271314 is not a "real name" though nowhere in W3C documentation could find a definition of "real name". There are publication by W3C with "real name" that is no different than this users' "real name" https://github.com/web-platform-tests/rfcs/issues/21#issuecomment-619592438. Thus, that rational has no credibility with regard to W3C besides proving they have the capacity to be hypocrites, even when advising them there is no such thing as "real name" per their own lack of a defition and publications. The "IPR" question is interesting. Had to file an issue just to get W3C to actually state in the repository that "IPR" means intellectual property rights. When file an issue it is not for some accredidation. It is a concept in an effort to solve a problem. Thus, any Member, or who has their "IPR" badge per W3C can certain take ownership of the issue. Making `requestFrame()` observable is in the interests of all parties, not just a party who might happen to have signed some contract with W3C. In any event, all code that write and issues that raise in W3C repositories are **PUBLIC DOMAIN**. -- GitHub Notification of comment by guest271314 Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/mediacapture-fromelement/issues/86#issuecomment-655508183 using your GitHub account
