Checking examples

Hi

I was looking at the PRs that updates the examples and thought that it
would be nice to have a tool that makes it possible to run a linter or
at least parse the example snippets to keep them in good shape. I've
written a script that extracts all the example code snippets, but the
linting/parsing is not completely done. I'll keep you updated.
