Hi, I want to answer a point that might not been clear. My request is basically to delegate a thing that I’ll have to do, but isn’t too code related and can be done by somebody else. If nobody does it, i’ll do it :) We already have some documents [4][5][6][7][8][9][10] that we will want to replace with our own instead of leaving Mozilla’s [1][2] on our accounts server. What needs to be done is: * Make a git repository in the same folder structure and file format as [0] * Get appropriate documents [4][5][6][7][8][9][10] and review them (maybe there are things that has changed since then) * Get the MediaWiki source, pass it to a Markdown converter (pandoc), and commit to the new git repository If only I have the reviewed content cleaned from outdated content removed in a git repository in mediawiki markup will be save me some time! Thanks Renoir ~ [4]: http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/WPD:Copyright [5]: http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/WPD:Privacy [6]: http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/WPD:Policy [7]: http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/Template:CC-by-3.0 [8]: http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/WPD:Pillars [9]: http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Site-terms-of-service [10]: http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/WPD:External_Attribution On 2014-05-27, 11:53 PM, Renoir Boulanger wrote: > Hi all > > I was wondering if somebody could help me prepare a set of legalese documents we publish about our site and practices for our upcoming accounts system. > > Basically all I need is a few text files in a github repository similar to what Mozilla did in Firefox Accounts ("FxA") [0] that we will be using. > > I agree its not a priority by itself because I managed to change the terms in the notices [3] -- If you see Mozilla, i'll fix it of course-- but the URIs [1][2] will remain better put our own stuff. > > I'm saying this because the default behavior of the new accounts system will use Mozilla's contracts and I thought we should use the same mechanism but for to put our own. > > Volunteers? > > NOTE: Accounts [3] aren't migrated yet (!) all data in FxA will be replaced by our current wiki users. > > [0] https://github.com/mozilla/legal-docs > [1] https://accounts.webplatform.org/legal/terms > [2] https://accounts.webplatform.org/en-us/legal/privacy > [3] https://accounts.webplatform.org/signup > -- > Renoir > ~
