Hi, Jen: I was looking for the guidelines, below, for Pearl, and couldn’t find them without searching in google. I noticed the top-level editing guide was redirected to a contributor’s guide. But that page doesn’t exist. How are we exposing the detailed editorial guidelines? Thanks. You might want to review the guide on how to update existing content[1] — there’s a syntax highlighting section. Also, refer to the gotchas page for additional quirks of the system.[2] HTH J [1] http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/WPD:Editors_Guide/step_5_update_existing_content [2] http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/WPD:Style_Guide/Gotchas ------------------- Julee Burdekin Content Strategist Adobe Web Platform @adobejulee julee@adobe.com<mailto:julee@adobe.com> From: Pearl Chen <pearlchen@google.com<mailto:pearlchen@google.com>> Date: Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 10:38 AM To: WebPlatform Public List <public-webplatform@w3.org<mailto:public-webplatform@w3.org>> Subject: Formatting of html tags Resent-From: WebPlatform Public List <public-webplatform@w3.org<mailto:public-webplatform@w3.org>> Resent-Date: Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 10:39 AM I'm trying to figure out of there is a preferred way to display html tags in text. I've seen it in various formats within the WPD docs, with and without brackets, with and without bold: - html element - html element - <html> element - <html> element My gut tells me to use "<html>", no bold unless there's an actual emphasis needed.
