Re: Pointer Events - A Top Level Topic?

Hi, Scott & all:

A couple of things:

 1. We have a media queries overview page here: http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/css/mediaqueries and one here: http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/css/media_queries. So would you please confirm where they go?
 2. Also, please confirm page naming convention: lower-case, with words separated, right? So the page name would be pointer_events.
 3. Microsoft is the only external pointer to this page, so if they can change the pointer in the blog post that would be better than WPD leaving behind the confusing redirects, don't you think?

Thanks!

Also, in the same blog post, "Pointer Events Wiki<http://wpd.mx/PointerEvents>" points to the wpd.mx<http://wpd.mx> URL shortner and leads to the same top level link, so this needs amending as well.

Thank you!

Note that this URL is already mentioned in a blog post by Microsoft Open Tech -

Elliot or anyone else from Microsoft - would you, please, take care of moving the topic and amending the link accordingly?

Thank you!

Thanks PhistucK,

That should probably reside under concepts/internet_and_web. Someone with the user name, "Blobaugh" (no user page on WPD - tch tch) has been building this for quite a while now.

Would the real Blobaugh please stand up?

This is a nice effort all around. We should reorganize it out of the top level, as PhistucK, er, pointed out.

Why is the Pointer Events topic located at the top level, along with HTML, CSS and the rest of the main topics?
http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/PointerEvents

Note that it is not listed within the main page as such, but the URL denotes it as a top level topic.

Seems odd.
