Hi Chairs (aka Manu!) :) Would it be possible to take up micropayments over the lightning network as a work item for this group? We have 2 people interested in this work (Michael Mumann and myself) and I already chatting to Rene Pickhardt on the lightning dev mailing list who has been extremely helpful. Here is a working proof of concept : https://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Hack_A_Lapp:_Introduction_to_Bitcoins_Lightning_Network_App_Development/C-Lightning_with_python As you can see in 15 minutes hacking time, it's possible to set up a functioning paywall for a fraction of a cent. I've tried it with the joule lightning extension and it is seamless. There is enormous interest at the grass roots level in the lightning network. Which imho represents the best of breed, and definitive solution for micro payments, right now. What's the next steps for making this a work item? Write up the use case? Where, in the wiki? Anyone else interested in this use case? Best Melvin
