Yes! Would love to see an open source mobile messenger compete with WhatsApp, FB Messenger, WeChat etc Completely anonymous with all history encrypted with the clients private key. I wonder if this could be the infrastructure for such a thing and if the world would adopt it ahead of these other personal tracking devices. I am not usually one for the tin-foil hat brigade but I would suggest that anyone using these IM tools look at the permissions you have given them. Most can turn on your phones camera and start recording (with audio) at will.
