Re: Anti-extremism as a strategy (was: Google payment plans)

Thanks a lot for this considerate response Tim,
I am honored by the time you took for it

I guess my basic concern is about this:

In my observations, while really many individuals in relevant bodies would
share it, the actions of such bodies *as a whole* don't speak those
definitions of commerce; there's imho a tendency towards selfish behavior,
blocking well-intentioned ideas if threatening their (market) position.
Let's face it, the web has the potential to make banks obsolete towards a
more decentralized and equitative model of wealth distribution. These are
the outcomes I am wondering about by applying extreme measures.

I am absolutely conscious of the very utopian nature of this statement,
also considering its nebulous (technical and organizational) feasibility.
I am not expecting to be heard.

Thanks for allowing me to express these thoughts.

(I applaud this open, inclusive, working group,
and the brilliant collective intelligence and productivity of its members.
I am learning loads at this front by being part of it.)
