Verifiable Claims Task Force approved

Hi all,

Happy 2016! :)

Let's start the new year off with some good news. During the last
meeting of 2015, the Web Payments Interest Group approved[1] the
Verifiable Claims Task Force.

Our first order of business will be to do interviews with a variety of
industry experts that have not been participating in the work to get
their perspective on the problem statement and general principles we've
identified[2].

We will have a prep call this coming Tuesday for those individuals. Note
that this is not an official Task Force call but merely an information
sharing session with those that have not been involved on a weekly
basis. Details of that meeting will be sent in a separate email.
