Hi Chaals, I have made additional edits to the Executive Summary: https://www.w3.org/Payments/IG/wiki/ExecSummary In particular: * Attempted to incorporate other comments on the thread into the text. * Reordered the points a bit (e.g., to favor usability and security up front) * Editorial harmonization. * New section on “Benefits for Various Audiences.” When we talk to companies, media, etc. they all want to know what the incentives are behind the work. I think we should call them out clearly for some key stakeholders. I have chosen four (users, merchants, mobile operators, banks) and I welcome both suggestions for how to improve/enhance those descriptions, as well as bullets for other parties (e.g., card networks, regulators, etc.) * Although Laurent suggested that “online / brick and mortar convergence” is not currently a focus, it is something that is mentioned in the group’s charter and I think something that we hope to achieve through the architecture. Therefore, I would like to re-integrate it into the text (e.g., in the section on improved user experience, and one of the benefits for merchants). We discussed the summary at last week’s IG call, and I took an action [1] to work with you to stabilize the text and publish it elsewhere than in the wiki (read: a time-stamped page with a status section that states the level of group consensus for the text, to be established by a call for consensus). Given these edits, the new section on benefits, and the call for comments on that section, I propose we issue the call for consensus on 12 March. Does that approach work for you?
