Dear IG, On today’s call we discussed [1] the changes I announced [2] yesterday. I have made two edits based on discussion: 1) Instead of “surfacing” 6 definitions there are now just 3 (but the text is essentially the same, just reworded to make sense when combined). I believe all references outside the definitions to the terms are limited to the three “digital” terms. 2) Adrian suggested a tweak to the language around payment schemes that rely on instruments from other schemes. His proposal resembled the original proposal I received from the reviewer, so I adopted it. Here’s the updated charter: http://w3c.github.io/webpayments-ig/latest/charters/payments-wg-charter.html Here’s the diff: https://github.com/w3c/webpayments-ig/commit/18e17f04cf70fcef09641989c20d2a571798b618 It is still important for us to address David Baron’s comment [3]. I would like to hear from David whether the proposal [4] satisfies the concern, or if he has an alternative that we can discuss at Monday’s call.
