I had an action to review the draft charter by Friday 10th. By my calculations, it's still Friday somewhere in the World. Hurrah for being a _Worldwide_ Web My comments (italic) and suggestions (bold) ------------- 1. Scope section (apostrophe gone astray in first para it's/its) second para add reference to tokenisation: "...payment credentials (increasingly through the use of tokenisation)" 2.1 Wallets General comment that calling this "Wallet" has the potential to derail - should we try to find another name? Payments credential store? Consistency: "registered by the wallet owner" - better changed to "by the payer" 2.2 Payment flow Add "or debit" to payment instrument example (so "e.g. a credit or debit card") At the end of the section, add a note clarifiying "Payment flow may not be linear (for example, selection of payment instrument may change cost of transaction, thereby requiring renegotiation of payment request)" 3.1 Recommendation track Deliverables "Proof of payment" - am worrying about this. We need to be explicitly clear - is this proof of payment or proof of funds (in the cards world, the latter is _much_ later) 5. Participation This section appears to have gone a little awry: Fix sentences around "may consume for each participant; or editors" 7. Decision Policy Chair/Chairs consistency ------------ Otherwise think this a solid draft.
