Dear W3C, I'm CTO of the world's premier health privacy advocacy non-profit. We represent a coalition of 10 Million people in the US and also work with the UN, Asia, and EU projects on health records standards and policy. I have read and provided input to the Verifiable Claims charter and support it. I would like for Patient Privacy Rights to join W3C if the charter is approved. The Verifiable Claims work is essential to the future of the Web. I have already referenced it in a paper that recently won recognition from the US Dept. of Health and Human Services Office of the National Coordinator. The standardization of Verifiable Claims by W3C is particularly important to global health care and public health. In health, trust and regulation depend heavily on the credentials of individual licensed professionals. I work directly with a number of other standards organizations and I know first-hand how unique and important the W3C role is in promoting popular trust in our most essential technologies. Sincerely, Adrian Gropper MD CTO, Patient Privacy Rights
