So I think the group wants to give you autonomy and authority to make
progress.  However you dont feel empowered to do so, and that's
understandable.  Would it perhaps help if we made you an interim co-chair
for this task, and handover period (say 3 months)?

There seems to be some blockage, and how can we get you unblocked?
