The WebID project for Drupal is available at http://drupal.org/project/webid, it includes a WebID provider module and a WebID authentification module. At the moment both modules rely on the excellent MyProfile services to delegate the verification during authentication, and also for generating the certificate. That means that it's easy to setup WebID on Drupal, without requiring site administrators to set up SSL on their server if they don't want to or don't have the right access. You can try WebID in Drupal at http://webid.openspring.net/. For example you can log in using your WebID (please let me know if you encounter any problem). You can also try the WebID provider by creating an account on Drupal (the old fashion way), and then create a certificate for your Drupal WebID. The screencast at [1] which will walk you through all these options. For those of you who are in the Boston area, I'll be presenting WebID and Drupal at the next Cambridge SemWeb meetup on Wed [2]. -- Steph.
