I just ran across the source code to MidasWWW, evidently unpacked from the 1992 tarball. It looks like I tried to build it in March 2011. I looked around and I can't find a copy of midaswww_1.0.tar.Z online, so I put up a modern shrine: https://github.com/dckc/MidasWWW https://github.com/dckc/MidasWWW/commit/f9cbf101e6f13d49a79fac756f9fbe1752dbf2e3 I back-dated the commit and attributed it to the original author. I wonder how many files on github say "23 years ago" ;-) hg rev 1aa258d4aea5 For reference: Date: Mon, 16 Nov 1992 19:03 PDT From: "Tony Johnson (415) 926 2278" <TONYJ@scs.slac.stanford.edu> Subject: MidasWWW - Motif based WWW browser now available.
