Hello WebFonts WG,
Today there was good news and bad news. The good news was that we announced the new WebFonts Charter. The bad news was that when we updated our internal database, we made an error. As a result, everyone was removed out of the WebFonts WG prematurely.
It was supposed to happen like this:
* 2012-10-24: We announce new charter and request that people rejoin.
* 2012-10-24 + 45 days (that is: around 8 December): Anyone who has not rejoined
under the new charter is automatically removed.
We entered the wrong "start date," and consequently everyone was automatically removed today. I have sent our systems team a request to restore people to the group for the original 45-day grace period.
Other than the confusion we caused, this error does not affect your participation in the group.
