Hello all, TPAC meeting will take place in Santa Clara, CA, the meeting dates are Oct. 31 - Nov. 4, 2011. Meeting details, registration and booking deadlines and groups schedule are available from [1]. As a reminder and a follow-up to our discussion yesterday during the telcon [2]: - The WebFonts WG F2F meeting plans at the TPAC this year will be finalized next week during our F2F meeting in Reykjavik; - Regardless of our F2F plans, the TPAC offers an excellent opportunity to participate in joint meetings with other WGs. The WOFF spec has two features that are marked "at risk". We believe that it would be best if these features are addressed at a higher level - one of them regarding SOR was proposed to be made link-specific (instead of data format specific) and be part of the CSS3 Fonts module, while the resolution for another feature (CORS vs. "From Origin") depends on the work done by the WebApps WG. In order to progress the WOFF spec to the Proposed Recommendation stage we need to resolve all "at risk" items and make a decision on whether to keep them or remove them from the spec. Therefore, our participation in joint meetings with CSS and WebApps WGs would be extremely valuable and would help influence the outcome of the discussions. I would like to ask all WG members to make every possible effort to attend the TPAC this year.
