RE: F2F meeting at TypeCon

Hello WG,

Some additional questions regarding the F2F meeting and the conference program:

1) In order to minimize the expense associated with the F2F we should consider bringing all necessary tools for the meeting. Projector rentals are usually costly - I can bring a small projector with me, but I wonder if there is anyone living in the area who is going to drive there and can bring either portable screen or projector or both.

2) It looks like we have no choice but to use hotel catering facilities - TypeCon contract prohibits bringing in our own refreshments (water, drinks) to the meeting room. I have asked them to provide us with hot drinks (coffee, tea) and soft drinks and water. Do we need to have any snacks served as well? Should we opt to have a coffee break in the hotel lobby instead (they have Starbucks there)?

I've let TypeCon organizers know that many of us would not be able to stay for the whole duration of the conference and asked if they would consider rearranging the conference program to accommodate WebFonts presentation and/or panel early in the beginning of the conference. I will follow up with them again today and will let you know as soon as I hear back. I do realize that the early registration deadline is approaching (it's June 30) and will keep you in the loop on all latest news.

Cheers,
Vlad
