Hi All - FYI, the Independent User Interface WG (aka Indie UI) has now been formally proposed to W3C Members. The proposed charter includes two deliverables and both of them are joint deliverables with the Web Events WG: http://www.w3.org/2011/11/indie-ui-charter If you have any comments, please send them to at least this list (another comment list is suggested below). If you work for a W3C Member, you may want to contact your "Advisory Committee" representative since they have been asked to submit comments on the proposed charter. (If you need help determining your AC rep, just let me know, off list). -AB -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Proposed W3C Charter: Independent User Interface (Indie UI) Working Group (until 2012-02-10) Resent-Date: Wed, 11 Jan 2012 22:18:41 +0000 Resent-From: <public-new-work@w3.org> Date: Wed, 11 Jan 2012 16:18:35 -0600 From: ext Ian Jacobs <ij@w3.org> To: <public-new-work@w3.org> Hello, Today W3C Advisory Committee Representatives received a Proposal to revise the WAI Technical Activity and WAI International Program Activity [0] (see the W3C Process Document description of Activity Proposals [1]). This proposal includes a draft charter for the Independent User Interface (Indie UI) Working Group: http://www.w3.org/2011/11/indie-ui-charter As part of ensuring that the community is aware of proposed work at W3C, this draft charter is public during the Advisory Committee review period. W3C invites public comments through 2012-02-10 on the proposed charter. Please send comments to public-new-work@w3.org, which has a public archive: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-new-work/ Other than comments sent in formal responses by W3C Advisory Committee Representatives, W3C cannot guarantee a response to comments. If you work for a W3C Member [2], please coordinate your comments with your Advisory Committee Representative. For example, you may wish to make public comments via this list and have your Advisory Committee Representative refer to it from his or her formal review comments. If you should have any questions or need further information, please contact Judy Brewer, WAI Domain Lead<jbrewer@w3.org>.
