Re: What you can do to contribute to the webed community group

Hi Kurt,

This sounds like it has a lot of potential.

At the moment, all we have on SVG is a list of tutorials we want http://www.w3.org/community/webed/wiki/WSC_proposed_updates#SVG

But I hadn't considered thinking about building some SVG applications for educators. What did you have in mind?

Do any of the educators on the list have any ideas here?

If you don't mind me using samples I develop from one for the other, this may be just the excuse I've been looking for. Do you have anything particular in mind, or are you just thinking about building out a "practical SVG" space? This would also be a good chance for me to work with educators to put together a wish-list of SVG type applications that may have utility in the education space.

The idea here would be to go through each course at http://www.w3.org/community/webed/wiki/Main_Page#Curriculum_structures and write a set of teaching materials for each learning competency.
