A bit off-topic, but members of this group might be interested in this opportunity, or might know someone who is: Research Associate in New Media (Part-time PhD studentship, linked to a 50% FTE Teaching Assistantship) This is an excellent opportunity for a masters graduate with research ambitions and new media industry experience to make the transition to an academic career. It offers a part-time PhD studentship and a 50% FTE teaching assistantship. Please include evidence of your practical new media skills and abilities in your application. University Grade 6 (£24,520 – £29,249 p.a. pro rata) plus an annual stipend commensurate with postgraduate research scholarships; PhD fees will be paid by the Institute.
