Hi all, The Web Ed CG front page has been updated to talk about the different projects we are going to do (note the change in terminology from subgroup). With this in place, we can now go forward and start inviting some more people to join. Feel free to invite anyone who you think might be interested in contributing! I will do a big invitation push next week - this week is a bit too crazy... Next thing - I want to start inviting existing members to contribute to these projects. I am particularly look for project Leads and deputy leads. I think the "Learning material", "Curriculum" and "Outreach" are the three most important to get populated with people, and the others can follow. If you want to be an project lead/deputy lead, please get in touch, and we'll discuss how it's going to work, and get some text up on the relevant project page, eg http://www.w3.org/community/webed/learning-material/. Leads/deputy leads will have great power and great responsibility over their projects. I will pass stuff to you, to take responsibility for, and you'll be expected to join a telephone meeting every two weeks or so, and give updates on how your project is doing. If you want to just be a regular project team member, let me know and I'll add you to the pages. If you want to start up an international education project for a specific language, let me know, and I'll set up a page for you. that's all for now, -- Chris Mills Open standards evangelist and dev.opera.com editor Opera Software * Try our browsers: http://www.opera.com * Learn to build a better web, with the Opera web standards curriculum: http://www.opera.com/wsc * Learn about the latest open standards technologies and techniques: http://dev.opera.com
