Starting WebDX CG meetings

Hi,

Thank you all for joining the WebDX Community Group!

Let me introduce myself - I'm Dominique Hazael-Massieux, I'm part of the
W3C staff where one of my functions is to look at ensuring W3C satisfies
as well as it can the needs from the developers community, as a key
component to ensuring impact of the work conducted there. With that hat,
I'm involved in the MDN Product Advisory Board [1] and the Open Web Docs
Steering Committee [2] whose collaborative nature and efforts have
inspired a lot of the thinking behind this group, which I've been
working on defining and launching with a number of others in the past
few months.

Hopefully you all have seen the charter under which this group is operating:
   https://github.com/web-platform-dx/admin/blob/main/charter.md

Some of you may also have noted the blog post I published last week that
explains some of the background and context of this Community Group:

https://www.w3.org/blog/2022/11/webdx-improving-the-experience-for-web-developers/

This group has emerged from a lot of discussions with folks from the
community (most of which have now joined the group); to make sure people
that are joining this effort now get up to speed, my colleague Francois
Daoust and I (as the co-chairs of this group) will provide shortly (in
the course of next week) a summary of the discussions that have led to
the creation of this group and the particular focus of the charter, as
well as some of the explorations that have already emerged from this
early discussions.

Moving forward, we propose to re-use the timeslot and cadence that we
had used for these preliminary discussions as a starting point: every
other Tuesday at 4pm CET (3pm UTC, but attached to the CET timezone),
starting November 22. If/when it emerges that this slot is creating
barriers for participation, we'll be happy to run a poll to find a
better alternative. This meeting (and its logistics) will be documented
in the W3C Calendar for which you should receive a notification shortly
after this message.

We intend the minutes of these meetings to be public, and expect to
invite guests as needed based on the topics set for discussion.

Meanwhile, I invite you all to introduce yourself on the list and
indicate which topics defined in the charter are of particular interest
to you, as well as possible future topics you think the group may want
to consider.

Thanks!

Dom
