Absolutely, Brian. Please don't let my response regarding Curve25519 detract from the work on NUMS. I think Virginie still plans to send out a proposal for resolving the NUMS aspect, and in particular if and how its integrated into the spec, since you did indeed submit by the deadline specified. Its exactly why I think Curve 25519 should proceed independently, since no such submission for it was made for it.
