RE: W3C Web Crypto Workshop : agenda is available and few seats left

Ryan,
There are 15 seat left for the workshop. Provided that we have kind sponsors (Google, Microsoft, Tyfone) who confirmed that they would be ok to sponsor the event for 70 people, I see no reason why not opening those seats. People interested will contact Harry and I, they would have to submit an expression of interest explaining why they would join, this expression of interest will be reviewed by the Program Committee, and we will make priorities to distribute last seats. All attendees in the workshop will be able to speak and participate to discussion.

Virginie,

Can you describe the process for seats, and what that entails?

It was indicated that all attendees needed to submit position papers by the end of July, to justify attendance and explain.

Will attendees who apply now be allowed to participate in discussions, or will they simply be observers who are expected to be silent? If the former, it seems like its changing the process at the last minute.

Dear all,

This is to inform you that the September W3C workshop, aiming to discuss web crypto, authentication and hardware token has a public agenda now. See http://www.w3.org/2012/webcrypto/webcrypto-next-workshop/Overview.html#schedule . The outcome of this workshop will be ideas to draft our next charter.

Note that there are few seats left for this workshop, so if you are interested in attending, just contact me or Harry.

Regards,
Virginie
