W3C Web Crypto WG - Take away from 22nd of July conf call

Hi all,

This is a take away from our call held on the 22nd of July. It does not replace the official minutes available under http://www.w3.org/2013/07/22-crypto-minutes.html

-          We discussed the Web Certificate API and the special need to have an exception to the single origin policy. As they were strong objection to endorse the required SOP exception, it has been decided that the next step for this feature would be to review the Web Certificate API with no SOP exception for FPWD in September and see how Korean implementers of Web Certificate 'SOP exception' can convince the WG on that feature.

-          The WG agreed to allow next public working draft for the Web Crypto Key Discovery API and the Web Crypto use cases (with a reminder that the former would end as a note for our WG)

-          The next IETF JOSE WG F2F is planned in the coming week, as such the WG is urged to define its requirements to JOSE to progress on specific features.

Next call is planned on the 5th of August @ 20:00 UTC.
