Based on the polling during yesterday's call, it sounds as though we have a strong set of participants committed to a f2f on July 24-25, although of course not everyone in the group will be able to make it. I didn't hear any preference expressed between Silicon Valley and Vancouver, so we should choose one. Anyone who would be unable to attend in one but not the other location, please say. (Personally, I find Mountain View more difficult for those not based in the area, as it's difficult/expensive to navigate without a car.) Let's finalize the location so people can start to book travel. Along with the venue itself (thanks very much for the offers at Mozilla, David!) we'll organize logistics for remote and in-room participation (a phone line and speaker phone, network connectivity, power plugs, projector), appropriate seating, and catering. We'll set up a registration form on W3C infrastructure to gather attendance info and other requirements. We usually provide lunch and help the group arrange pay-your-own dinners. We'll want to post an agenda sufficiently far in advance to get input from those who can't attend f2f. It would be great to cue up issues that would really benefit from sustained in-person discussion. --Wendy -- Wendy Seltzer -- wseltzer@w3.org +1.617.863.0613 http://wendy.seltzer.org/
