> [@MasterKale](https://github.com/MasterKale) This person has opened multiple issues against this repo, each one attempting to co-opt webauthn into a way to track and limit users by signup. They have been told time and time again it is not possible. I think part of the problem is discussions like this are really discussions, and not ready as a proposed change. However, the GitHub New Issue dialog almost encourages discussions in the bug tracker instead of pointing folks to discuss a topic at public-webauthn mailing list. Below is the GitHub New Issue for this repo. GitHub could also be improved. New issues should have moderation, but GutHub does not allow it. If GitHub allowed issue submission moderation, [bigradish](https://github.com/bigradish) could be pointed to a mailing list for discussion. -- GitHub Notification of comment by noloader Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/webauthn/issues/2263#issuecomment-2673597030 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
