To provide some insight to this part of the conversation "passkey" is intended to be a _platform agnostic_ synonym for "FIDO credential". Apple passkeys, Android passkeys, and Microsoft passkeys - they'll all refer to the same kind of discoverable credential, only differing by which platform vendor is responsible for syncing them to the cloud. Otherwise for the purposes of WebAuthn they're typical credentials we all know and love.
