It's a great shame that txAuthSimple and txAuthGeneric were dropped from the spec. Is there any change these will be reintroduced (either in their original form or in some new form)?

There already exist FIDO2 tokens with display (see below) and these extensions were perfect match for confirming transaction data on the device display.
