RE: Notes from WebAuthn Review

With all the various threads I've lost track of whether these comments have
been addressed or not. Let me know if they should be on master at this
point, on a branch, or still on the back burner.

If it would help, I would be happy to summarize and prioritize some of the
issues I saw.
