Dear Joint Task Force participants, Minutes from today: https://www.w3.org/2020/02/19-webauthn-pay-minutes We discussed a proposal where a relying party can create FIDO credentials on behalf of (and scoped to) another relying party. The use case we discussed involved a bank creating FIDO credentials on behalf of a PISP (in a PSD2 payment scenario). Here was the presentation by Dirk Balfanz: http://www.w3.org/2020/02/3p-creds-20200219.pdf There were some questions about scoping, and also the beginning of discussion about the “inverse” use case where a merchant (or PSP) might want to share credentials with another party (e.g., an issuing bank). I expect conversation to continue on the next call, as well as on other items we did not get to today (dynamic linking, face-to-face agenda). Next call: 4 March.
