Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
[This announcement will be forwarded to W3C group chairs]

The Web Application Security Working Group charter [1] is hereby 
extended until 30 July 2026.

The mission of the Web Application Security Working Group is to develop 
mechanisms and best practices which improve the security of Web 
Applications.

This extension will allow the group to focus on finalizing the new 
charter and several publications:
