The mission of the group is to develop security and policy mechanisms to improve the security of Web Applications, and enable secure cross-origin communication. Following feedback during the Director's review of the draft charter, the chairs plan to propose a better-described path for specifications and bring back to the WG for consensus before bringing to the AC.
