This is a call for consensus to publish the following draft of "Requirements for Powerful Features" as a First Public Working Draft: https://w3c.github.io/webappsec/specs/powerfulfeatures/ This document provides guidelines for user agent implementers and spec authors for implementing features whose properties dictate that they only be exposed to the web within a trustworthy environment. The non-normative, explanatory portions of the document aren't at all complete, but I believe the normative sections are ready for review (note in particular that the normative sections of this new document are lifted with only light modification from the existing Mixed Content LCWD: http://www.w3.org/TR/mixed-content/). The TAG has expressed interest in working with us on this document. I'll leave it up to folks like Mark (CC'd) to comment as to whether they'd like to see this structured as a joint deliverable or not. Please send any and all comments to public-webappsec@w3.org. This CfC will end with our next call, on December 1st, 2014. -- Mike West <mkwst@google.com> Google+: https://mkw.st/+, Twitter: @mikewest, Cell: +49 162 10 255 91 Google Germany GmbH, Dienerstrasse 12, 80331 München, Germany Registergericht und -nummer: Hamburg, HRB 86891 Sitz der Gesellschaft: Hamburg Geschäftsführer: Graham Law, Christine Elizabeth Flores (Sorry; I'm legally required to add this exciting detail to emails.
