WebAppSec folks and guests: I'm putting together a DVD with a bunch of tools for the test jam at next week's F2F, including a VM that mirrors reasonably well the setup at www.w3-test.org. ATTENTION TINY-LITTLE-LAPTOP PEOPLE: If your computer doesn't have an optical drive, bring an external one, or come prepared by installing Oracle VirtualBox and the test VM this week. You can get (a little bit outdated version of) the VM using the attached torrent or by direct download at: http://kingsmountain.com/webappsec/WebAppSec-Testsuite-01.zip <-- Big thanks to =JeffH for hosting this! DVD drive or not, if you intend to participate, I highly recommend everyone install Oracle VirtualBox in advance to save time. https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads I'll try to include the installers on a DVD, but there are many, many Linux binaries. (https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads) If you're too lazy to install it in advance, but just motivated enough to tell me what distro and platform you use, I'll include your favorite. One final note - this is a BYOB event - bring your own browser! Last I checked, none of the browsers in the package manager for the distro I built the test VM on supported our WG's features yet. Make sure your favorite, latest-and-greatest, CORS and CSP-capable browsers are installed on your host OS so we can run some tests! Thanks, Brad
