WG Members, The Selectors API was published as a W3C Recommendation in 2013, but has since been merged into the WHATWG DOM specification. A fact that was noted in the Selectors API Level 2 specification, which was published in October 2013 [2] as a Working Group Note. As such, this is a call for consensus (CFC) to mark the Selectors API as superseded on /TR/. As per the W3C Process doc [3], to supersede means: "W3C may declare a Recommendation Superseded if a newer version exists which the W3C recommends for new adoption." The CFC will close the 31 of March, 2020. If you'd like to express an opinion or object, we kindly as that you use the following Github issue: https://github.com/w3c/webappswg/issues/21 You can also record a 👍 or 👎 there, but pleas be sure to justify any dissenting opinions with a comment.
