https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=26846 Bug ID: 26846 Summary: it is unclear how elements in older shadow trees should work in case the newer shadow tree lacks <shadow> Product: WebAppsWG Version: unspecified Hardware: PC OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Component Model Assignee: dglazkov@chromium.org Reporter: bugs@pettay.fi QA Contact: public-webapps-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-webapps@w3.org Should the elements in the older shadow tree behave as if (1) they were in the tree of the host, or as if (2) the older shadow tree was a disconnected dom subtree? This all assuming the newer tree doesn't have a shadow insertion point. I don't have a strong opinion on this, but it should be defined explicitly in the spec. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
