Section 6 [1] refers to bug 25310 [2] and suggests that the HTML5 sandboxing material could be changed. The current specification refers to HTML5.0 [3] which is currently in its last CR period before progressing to Proposed Recommendation. If a change is required in the HTML specification then it is more likely that this would occur in HTML 5.1 [4]. /paulc HTML WG co-chair [1] https://w3c.github.io/screen-orientation/#extension-to-the-html-sandboxing-model [2] https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=25310 [3] http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/ [4] http://www.w3.org/TR/html51/ Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329 -----Original Message----- From: Arthur Barstow [mailto:art.barstow@gmail.com] Sent: Monday, August 04, 2014 8:20 AM To: public-webapps Subject: RfC: pre-LC version of Screen Orientation; deadline August 18 [ Bcc: www-tag, public-script-coord, public-web-security, public-web-mobile ; please Reply-to: public-webapps ] Hi All, Marcos and Mounir, the Editors of WebApps' Screen Orientation API, consider their spec feature complete with only a few minor [Bugs] open. As such, we seek wide review on their "pre-LC" version: <https://w3c.github.io/screen-orientation/> If you have any comments, please send them to public-webapps by August 18 (and if you and/or your group need more time, please let me know.) We also welcome data about "silent reviews", f.ex. "I reviewed section N.N and have no comments". TAG, TC-39, Web Security IG, Web Mobile IG - we are especially interested in your feedback. -Thanks, AB [Bugs] <http://tinyurl.com/Bugz-screen-orientation >
