WebApps Test Facilitators - below is a proposal from Tobie to rename WebApps' test directory names to match the spec's TR `short name`. F.ex., instead of the current "ServerSentEvents" directory, the directory would be named to "eventsource". It appears this renaming is pretty close to a `done deal` so please speak up ASAP if you have any objections/concerns. (FWIW, this is fine with me although I don't recall any complaints the current names are problematic.) -Thanks, AB -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Naming directories in web-platform-tests Resent-Date: Tue, 16 Apr 2013 22:25:50 +0000 Resent-From: <public-test-infra@w3.org> Date: Wed, 17 Apr 2013 00:25:40 +0200 From: ext Tobie Langel <tobie@w3.org> To: public-test-infra <public-test-infra@w3.org> Hi, Is there any reason for the the test directory names not to match the short name of the specs as found in /TR? (e.g. 2dcontext vs. canvas2d, webmessaging vs. WebMessaging, crypto-api vs WebCryptoAPI, etc.) If we don't like the names of the specs in /TR can we change them there rather than in the test repository? Happy to send a pull request with changes if there's agreement. Thanks, --tobie
